The idea behind BenchBuddy
For over 30 years, Tim Huckabee has visited more than 7,000 flower shops across five continents. While on-site providing customer service and sales training, he kept hearing the same complaints from owners about the challenges their design teams faced at the bench.
After hearing the same complaints and requests from florists again and again, Tim realized he could take action and finally solve a problem that was costing flower shops of every size valuable time and money, creating waste, and causing frustration.
That realization became the genesis of BenchBuddy, using technology to motivate and engage design teams without requiring an owner or manager to constantly monitor them. BenchBuddy was created to help designers stay focused, productive, and accountable while giving managers better visibility into their team.
